What does the future of cultural offerings in Bavaria look like? What role do citizens play in this?

Anna Kleeblatt (culture manager for the Flower Power Festival and member of the board of the Friends of the National Theater e.V. and the VDMK e.V.) and Markus Michalke (entrepreneur and chairman of the Pinakothek der Moderne foundation) are spokespersons for the "Initiative Kulturzukunft Bayern", in the Bavarian-wide 24 Friends and support groups of large cultural institutions and which was founded in the autumn of last year. As part of the state election campaign, the initiative calls on politicians to define a perspective for the cultural offering of the future and to show how the Free State will ensure today and in the future that the state cultural institutions fulfill their mandate adequately and at a high international level can.

The Munich painters, Elisa Breyer and Janka Zöller, who will be performing a duo show in the ludwig space from April 22nd, are both students/graduates of the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich and are precisely on these cultural breeding ground of the city.
