“Art Boom or World Crisis? Various Others is entering its 5th year" - in view of the escalation of the world crises, you will see how much the programs of Various Others (can) react to these social challenges.
Various Others is a platform for the most ambitious players in the Munich art scene. As a joint venture of galleries, off-spaces, art spaces run by artists, museums and institutions, Various Others is dedicated to "promoting the public perception of Munich as an art location". In close collaboration, the participants develop the program together and are in constant exchange. Dietlinde Behncke discusses with Andrea Lissoni and Sarah Haugeneder about the great opportunity of Various Others, why the platform is an extraordinary gain for Munich's international reputation and such a model for the Haus der Kunst is so relevant. She will also talk about Andrea Lissoni's further plans for his museum, as well as with Sarah Haugeneder about the role of Munich's museums in an international comparison in the face of dramatic changes.
